The October 2026 release introduces the Stock Ledger, a new billing flow, and background import and export, together with faster reports, workflow improvements, and stock accuracy fixes.
This release is organized into four sections. New features include the Stock Ledger, Billing, and Enhanced Import & Export. Workflow improvements span invoicing, inventory, quotations, and reporting. Bug fixes address key stock and inventory issues, and performance improvements optimize report queries, lock contention, and rate limiting.

Previously, stock balances depended on repeatedly recalculating stock history. In some cases, this caused records to be lost or become inconsistent, leading to differences between Prokip's records and a business's actual stock balances. The Stock Ledger fixes this by recording each movement once and preserving it.
This is more than an inventory update. It is a stronger foundation for faster operations, more accurate stock records, and greater accountability.

Prokip now has a dedicated Billing page where you can view your subscription, see which paid add-ons need renewal, and check the fees involved. You can renew your subscription and buy additional add-ons directly in the app. Reminders are sent 7, 3, and 1 day before your subscription expires, and after a successful payment your subscription updates automatically, with no need to contact support for activation.
Previously, you could only view your base subscription. Paid add-ons were hard to see, renewal reminders were limited, and there was no easy way to see the total needed to renew your subscription and add-ons. The new flow gives you clearer visibility and more control.
Open the Billing page. Go to the dedicated Billing page in Prokip to view your billing information.
Review your subscription. See your base subscription and any paid add-ons.
Check renewal amounts. View the renewal fee for your subscription and for the add-ons that need renewing, so you know the total due.

Billing and Subscription Management
Import and export now run in the background, so you no longer have to wait for a job to finish before you carry on with your work. Jobs are queued for processing, a progress bar updates as they run, and you are notified when they are done. If you started an export, the exported file is also sent to you by email.

Creating a sale or purchase is now safer. If a button is tapped twice or a connection is slow and the request is sent again, Prokip recognizes it and processes the action only once. The login page is also protected against automated bots that try to sign in repeatedly.

Previously, activities such as editing or deleting stock records, processing returns, making adjustments, and importing products could briefly hold up other stock activity across the whole business, even sales in other branches. This could cause delays or failed requests at busy times.
Now, each stock activity affects only the products involved, so the rest of your business keeps running. If a product is briefly busy, Prokip automatically retries for up to 10 seconds before showing an error, and large imports are processed in smaller batches to keep things moving.
The result is a dramatic improvement in reliability: long-running stock holdups on our production system dropped from hundreds per day to about five.

Added a shipping option to the invoice creation process, allowing users to include shipping information when preparing invoices.
Prokip now flags potential duplicate customer records based on their email address, name, or phone number.
Prokip now identifies potential duplicate products based on product names. When duplicates are detected, users can choose to merge the products, deactivate the duplicate product or products, or ignore the warning.
Added validation to prevent users from entering a future date or a negative quantity when recording opening stock.
Added a Convert to Invoice action to the quotation dropdown menu, allowing users to convert an existing quotation into an invoice directly.
Enhanced the Sales Representative Report to improve the reporting experience and make sales performance information easier to review.
Inactive products no longer appear on the Stock Report or on the Products/Services page when it first loads.
Added a user filter to the Product Sales Report, allowing users to filter sales information by the relevant user.
Users at the destination can now confirm and update the quantities of products received after a stock transfer.
Improved the handling and display of opening balances and their payments in the Customer Ledger Account Summary.

Sales Stock Updates: Fixed issues with incorrect stock deductions when sales are edited, saved multiple times, or converted from drafts to invoices.
Purchase Stock Updates: Fixed issues that caused stock quantities to increase incorrectly when purchases were marked as received more than once.
Stock Transfers: Fixed issues with missing destination stock records, incorrect received quantities, and inaccurate stock records after editing or deleting transfers.
Stock Returns: Fixed issues with incorrect return quantities and stock increases when returned quantities exceeded the original sale.
Stock Adjustments and Counts: Fixed issues with stock adjustments not updating quantities correctly or leaving incorrect stock balances after deletion.
Unit and Quantity Calculations: Fixed errors affecting products sold or transferred using different units, including boxes and individual pieces.
Manufacturing and Production: Fixed stock calculation issues when finalizing production, particularly when there is insufficient ingredient stock.
Lot and Batch Tracking: Fixed incorrect lot quantities after editing or deleting sales, transfers, and stock adjustments, improving lot-level stock accuracy.
Stock Validation: Fixed issues that allowed transactions to be saved without applying the corresponding stock changes when available stock was insufficient.
